Make a Gift key
To receive a gifted treasury in your DigiByte Core wallet, the giver needs your Gift key — a code no address can substitute for. Three steps in your Core wallet's built-in console (open it via Window → Console, or Help → Debug window → Console in older versions):
1. Type this and press Enter — it prints a new address starting dgb1p:
getnewaddress gift bech32m
2. Type getaddressinfo, a space, then paste that address:
getaddressinfo dgb1p…the address from step 1
3. Copy everything it prints and paste it below.
(Command-line users: the same two commands work with a digibyte-cli prefix — keep the gift label, some shells eat an empty "".)
Everything stays in this browser — the paste contains only public keys, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Receive
Sending from Coinomi, an exchange, or another wallet that doesn’t support taproot (dgb1p…) addresses?
Receiving a gifted treasury? Give the sender this Gift key, not your address. It is safe to share (it holds no secrets), but offer to confirm a few characters of it with the giver before they mint: a key swapped in transit would send the gift to someone else.

Raise your transaction limit
You are raising this device's per-transaction limit to on mainnet, from .
- This is beta software handling real money. It can have bugs that cost you funds.
- Your keys are generated and held in this browser. Clearing site data, losing the device, or a malicious extension can mean permanent loss.
- There is no server-side backup and no recovery. If you lose your seed phrase, no one, including the developers, can restore your funds.
- Transactions are irreversible. A wrong address or amount cannot be undone or refunded.
- The limit is enforced in this page only. It protects you from mistakes, not from an attacker who already controls your browser.
- You are acting as your own bank. The software is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, and its authors accept no liability for any loss.
Consolidate coins
DigiDollar actions need one DGB coin, big enough on its own, sitting on your taproot (dgb1p...) address: that is the address type DigiDollar is built on. If your DGB is spread across several coins, on segwit (dgb1q...) addresses, or both, consolidating merges every confirmed coin into a single coin at your current taproot receive address. Your DGB never leaves this wallet, the same seed words control it, and only the network fee is spent.
Treasury wallets
Independent wallets that each lock DGB and mint DigiDollar — created and stored only in this browser.

Transfer treasury
Transferring gives the other person full control of — its locked DGB and its DigiDollar. This cannot be undone on-chain.
Honest warning: deleting your copy afterwards does not prove you forgot the keys — a seller could keep a copy of the backup words. Private sales need trust, escrow, or a legal agreement.
Back up to GitHub
Your wallets are encrypted on this device before upload. GitHub only ever stores scrambled data — never your words, keys, or password.
1. Create a private GitHub repository (e.g. dgb-treasury-backups). 2. Create a fine-grained access token limited to that one repository with Contents: Read and write (set an expiry and renew it when it lapses). 3. Paste the details here.
Gift a locked treasury
Your DGB funds it, but the recipient owns it from the first block: only they can ever unlock it — you keep nothing and cannot undo it. Perfect for gifts and wills with a date attached.
A Gift key is not an address — an address cannot receive a gifted treasury. Ask the recipient to copy their ddgift1… code from their own wallet.
Advanced: lock period
This breaks the treasury
Spending this DigiDollar breaks : without its DD, the locked DGB cannot be redeemed at maturity — someone would have to buy the DD back first.
If you go ahead, the move is recorded so a future buyer can see the DD was moved.

Real money ahead
You’re about to use the DigiDollar mainnet wallet with real funds.
- Beta software, “as is”, no warranty; may contain bugs that lose funds.
- Keys live only in this browser. Back up each wallet's seed phrase (Network → Back up now) — clearing browser data or losing this device without a backup means the funds are gone.
- During beta, transactions are capped at $500 each by default. You can raise or remove that limit in Settings (Network), after acknowledging the risks.
- You bear all risk. Authors accept no liability.
